THE Coast will join Aus­tralians from all walks of life on March 21 to cel­e­brate Har­mony Day and ex­pe­ri­ence the rich cul­tural di­ver­sity that makes our re­gion a great place to live.

Sun­shine Coast Coun­cil, in part­ner­ship with the Sun­shine Coast Mul­ti­cul­tural Net­work and Surf Life Sav­ing Queens­land, in­vites the com­mu­nity to come to­gether and join in the free fam­ily-friendly Har­mony Day cel­e­bra­tions from 8am to 7pm on March 21 at Buhk Park and the beach at Alexan­dra Head­land.

There are many ac­tiv­i­ties to look for­ward to from 8am to 7pm in­clud­ing a sand sculp­ture by world cham­pion Den­nis Mas­soud, a sand sculp­ture work­shop, games from around the world, drum­ming cir­cle, mul­ti­cul­tural dance and mu­sic, Wel­come to Coun­try per­for­mance by Gubbi Gubbi tra­di­tional own­ers, com­mu­nity bar­be­cue and more.
