Time to stop borrowing

Sunshine Coast Daily - Caloundra Weekly - - NEWS -

NOTE to Jackie Trad – the state of Queensland is broke.

We owe circa $80 billion. Yet you promise to spend $45 billion on proposed infrastructure projects, with more borrowed money.

Nice way to sway voters for your re-election.

You need every vote with your minor percentage to hold onto your seat.

Politicians can promise anything, however to deliver is the key.

The feds just borrowed in the last two weeks another $1.2 billion in one week alone.

Keyword “borrowed”. We cannot sustain this madness in both federal and state arenas.

The decisions made are tantamount to being involved in white collar crime offences, both parties are as bad.

You cannot keep borrowing to fund promises.

When will this madness stop?
