EN­JOY an af­ter­noon of nos­tal­gia as the Sun­shine Coast Sym­phony Or­ches­tra takes you back in time to re-live the drama and ro­mance of some clas­sic movie and mu­si­cal songs.

From the tur­bu­lence and the tur­moil of Hol­ly­wood west­ern The Big Coun­try to the gen­tle thwarted ro­mance of Ladies in Laven­der, the or­ches­tra will take you on a movie mu­si­cal jour­ney.

It will also per­form the over-the-top, in-your-face ex­u­ber­ance of Seventy-six

Trom­bones and the in­ept

bungling of In­spec­tor Clouseau in The Pink Pan­ther.

The Sun­shine Coast Sym­phony Or­ches­tra’s fourth con­cert in their 2018 sea­son is one not to be missed, whether a movie mu­si­cal enthusiast or not.

The show will be con­ducted by Adrian King and will take place at 2pm on Au­gust 8 at St Peter’s Angli­can Church, cor­ner of Church Street and Beach Road, Ma­roochy­dore.

Tick­ets are $20 pre-pur­chased or $25 at the door, cash only.
