Open weekend on Bulcock Beach
FIND out how anyone can help to save a life with the Bulcock Beach Life Savers at their Open Weekend on September 22 and 23.
“The Smallest Club on the Coast” is affiliated with the Royal Life Saving Society whose motto is: “Everyone can be a life saver” and welcomes new members for both “swimming” and “dry” roles.
“This is a great opportunity for people to find out all the different jobs life savers have to do.
“Our Club relies on its members undertaking a huge variety of different roles, both water and land based” said club captain Lynda Barry.
“We welcome interest from people of all ages, from 14 years up. Our club has got members up to 76 years old who actively patrol.”
