SLIPPERY snakes, radical reptiles and friendly frogs are taking centre stage these school holidays as Sunshine Coast Council unwraps the wonderful world of
with a series of creative, crafty and inspiring workshops at the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden.
The Arts and Ecology Centre will come alive until October 4 with workshops focused on local amphibian and reptilian characters. From turtle tales to uncovering legendary leap frogs, these workshops will have imaginative young minds hopping, sliding and leaping.
Come along and write your own reptile story, paint a frog, learn to etch a species or discover theindigenous legend of Goombuckar the frog and make your own puppet.
Children can also join award-winning Sunshine Coast author Aleesah Darlison as she takes her readers on an ocean-inspired adventure of her children’s book,
