THIS four-part psychological thriller follows the lives of Joanna and her husband Alistair (Jenna Coleman and Ewen Leslie, pictured).

Joanna and Alistair and their baby travel from Scotland to Australia to see Alistair’s mother Elizabeth (Stella Gonet) and to fight for custody of Alistair’s daughter Chloe against his Australian ex-wife Alexandra (Asher Keddie).

However, when their baby disappears, it triggers Joanna’s psychological breakdown, in the glare of global media speculation and judgment, changing her marriage forever.

But just what did happen to baby Noah?

Filmed in both Australia and Glasgow, The Cry is based on the gripping, page-turner novel by Helen FitzGerald. Travel Guides, Nine, Tuesday at 9pm
