SUNSHINE Coast pizza prodigies David and Melissa Burness have been recognised among the best Domino’s franchisees across Australia and New Zealand at the 2019 Domino’s annual rally.

After 28 years and a five-store network, the couple was awarded the Domino’s Leadership Eagle Award, given to franchisees who represent the best in outstanding leadership and operational success.

Mr Burness said he was pleased to receive the award.

“The best recognition I can hope for is our customers coming back because of the quality of their last Domino’s experience; that’s our challenge every day and one we aspire to live up to,” Mr Burness said.

Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said the husband-and-wife team’s passion for pizza and excellent customer service was the key to their success.

“David and Melissa’s relentless drive and dedication is evident through the success of their five Queensland stores.”
