LIVE THE COASTAL DREAM
Spectacular views at a steal with unique home in a prime spot
PANORAMIC views at a steal is how this stunning three-level Moffat Beach mansion is being pitched ahead of auction.
The Bennett St property boasts a six-car garage, four spacious bedrooms and north-facing views over one of the Sunshine Coast’s hottest suburbs.
Ray White Caloundra agent Tom Garland described the property as a prime piece of real estate at a fraction of the price of a similar home in Sydney.
He said the owners bought the property, nestled on top of the iconic Moffat Beach cliffs, for $3.5 million in 2007.
They then spent a further $3 million on a complete re-build for their “forever home”.
“That doesn’t mean it’s now a $6.5 million property,” Mr Garland said.
“The house they built was never a money-making exercise. It was built as a family home.
“Now they’re getting older and the family’s all grown up, they don’t need the room.”
Mr Garland said while he couldn’t predict how much it would go for at auction, it was a “steal” compared to areas like Sydney or even Noosa.
“This is a north-facing panoramic home on a parcel of land that you can’t buy anywhere else,” he said.
“If it was in Sydney it would be a $40 million home, so compared to that it’s going to a pittance to buy here.”
The property will be auctioned on April 26.
