NANNEELLA Hall Committee has generously donated $500 to Nanneella Estate Primary School.

Having accumulated funds at the many events, the Hall Committee donated their revenue to the school to aid students and their families with school camps.

The small but mighty school of 25 pupils attend regular camps during the year through Campaspe Cluster Camps.

Locations for camps range from a trip through history at Sovereign Hill, a beach getaway to Anglesea and a metropolitan experience in Melbourne. The school also organises a sleepover at the school for the younger students.

Principal Ian Denson said the donation will go a long way to helping the school’s families.

‘‘It can be very expensive sending kids on school camp,’’ Mr Denson said.

‘‘Especially if the family has two or more students.

‘‘The $500 will help all kids access camps.’’
