Pony club to celebrate 60 years in saddle

SAVE the date — The Rochester and District Pony Club is 60 years young.

The club is one of the oldest in Northern Victoria and was a founding member of the Northern Zone PCAV. The Rochester pony club has shaped many successful district riders throughout the years, with some competing in Olympic Games and events overseas as well as numerous state and local competitions.

To celebrate, the club is planning a birthday celebration and would like to invite all past and present members and all the local families who have been instrumental in establishing the club and contributed to its longevity and success, to come along to the rally on November 4 commencing at 10.30am.

There will be a display of memorabilia, followed by a celebration lunch and musical ride. It will be a great opportunity to catch up and reminisce with members.

Any enquiries or RSVPs can be made to club secretary Kylie Glass on 0417 625 555.

Former members of Rochester and District Pony Club are invited to the celebrations on November 4, where they can meet and mingle with current riders.
