Classic cars hit the road in Rochester
THE SECOND annual Moama Historic Vehicle Club Rally was held on September 16.
Cars from the 1950s through to modern vehicles and everything from MGs, Morris Minors and Jaguars to Mustangs, Holdens and Fords all began their day at the Rochester Silos.
The event, full of cryptic clues, surprises and laughs, was attended by 29 cars with a total of 65 participants.
Committee member Kate Dixon said the event was bigger and better than last year.
‘‘It was a successful day,’’ she said. ‘‘We’re looking to continue to build the event in years to come. It was a lot of work but a lot of enjoyment.’’
