Nails campaign hammers home horrors of violence against kids

BRUCE Hocking Motors has joined the Polished Man campaign, which runs throughout the month of October.

With a target to raise $200, the team is well on its way, after collecting $54 on the first day.

Polished Man is a fundraising campaign challenging men (and women) to end violence against children. By painting one fingernail, participants can more visually understand the statistics surrounding violence against children. Globally, one child dies every five minutes as a result of violence.

The money raised by participants of the Polished Man goes towards trauma recovery and trauma prevention programs run by a number of charities including YGAP, World Vision, Hagar International, The New York Centre for Children and the Australian Childhood Foundation.

Bruce Hocking Motors is hoping you can spare some change for such a worthy cause by donating through my.polishedingmotors-p-l. The team will also paint your nail for a gold coin donation.
