Prickly pair for An­ton

ROCHESTER is now firmly marked on the suc­cu­lent map of Vic­to­ria af­ter An­ton Gusak’s re­cent win.

At the end of last month, Mr Gusak took his greatly loved plants to the An­nual Show of Cacti and Suc­cu­lents held by the Cac­tus and Suc­cu­lents So­ci­ety of Aus­tralia in Mount Waver­ley.

But this wasn’t the first time Mr Gusak has been suc­cess­ful in the show. The 80-year-old has claimed the ti­tle of best ex­hibit three times in the past four shows.

Mr Gusak is proud as punch of his achieve­ments and is look­ing for­ward to pre­sent­ing in the an­nual show for many years to come.
