LOCKINGTON Preschool children were among a lucky few to score an early visit from Santa.

On December 20 the preschool held its graduation and Christmas break-up where Santa had his work cut out for him, hearing about children’s wishlists and fielding questions about the North Pole.

Lockington Preschool’s Jeanne Aitken thanked the students for a great year as they handed out presents to their parents.

‘‘We had a lovely year this year and all of our big kids are ready to head off to school, and we wish them good luck,’’ she said.

Jeanne wished the three-year-olds a merry Christmas before Santa gave out presents to everyone.
