The public is in­vited to the open­ing event for Shona Mcgre­gor’s ex­hi­bi­tion Won­der­ful Things Are Pass­ing You By. In an in­creas­ingly anx­ious and tech­no­log­i­cally driven world, this ex­hi­bi­tion con­tin­ues Mcgre­gor’s search for a means to re­con­nect the in­di­vid­ual with their phys­i­cal sur­round­ings and re­dis­cover their sense of won­der and cu­rios­ity.

The Rock n Rollers Col­lec­tors’ Club is hold­ing a record and CD fair this month with part pro­ceeds go­ing to Ra­dio Lol­lipop at Perth Chil­dren’s Hospi­tal.

Strata in WA is changing for the first time in over 20 years so the State Gov­ern­ment, through Landgate, is run­ning a se­ries of free com­mu­nity in­for­ma­tion ses­sions so the public have a chance to un­der­stand what’s changing and how they can have their say dur­ing the public con­sul­ta­tion pe­riod.

City of South Perth is invit­ing the com­mu­nity to take part in the Aussie Back­yard Bird Count.

From Oc­to­ber 21 to 27, Aus­tralians will be asked to help Birdlife Aus­tralia count the birds that share their back­yards as part of the an­nual Aussie Back­yard Bird Count, held dur­ing Na­tional Bird Week.
