The public is invited to the opening event for Shona Mcgregor’s exhibition Wonderful Things Are Passing You By. In an increasingly anxious and technologically driven world, this exhibition continues Mcgregor’s search for a means to reconnect the individual with their physical surroundings and rediscover their sense of wonder and curiosity.

RECORD AND CD FAIR
The Rock n Rollers Collectors’ Club is holding a record and CD fair this month with part proceeds going to Radio Lollipop at Perth Children’s Hospital.

STRATA INFO DAY
Strata in WA is changing for the first time in over 20 years so the State Government, through Landgate, is running a series of free community information sessions so the public have a chance to understand what’s changing and how they can have their say during the public consultation period.

BACKYARD BIRD COUNT
City of South Perth is inviting the community to take part in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count.
From October 21 to 27, Australians will be asked to help Birdlife Australia count the birds that share their backyards as part of the annual Aussie Backyard Bird Count, held during National Bird Week.
