CLAS­SIC CAR SHOW

The Como Ro­tary and Wes­ley Col­lege 8th Clas­sic Car Show will fea­ture a de­light­ful mix of vin­tage, clas­sic, lux­ury and ex­otic cars on dis­play.

The fam­ily friendly event will in­clude a jazz band, slot cars for kids, sausage siz­zle, cof­fee, cakes and ice-cream, raf­fle and renowned artist Richard Hard­wick is on hand to paint your prized pos­ses­sion.

En­try is free for dis­play cars. En­try is $10 for adults, $8 for con­ces­sion and gold coin do­na­tion for un­der-18s.

Tex­tile artist Robi Sza­lay is throw­ing open the doors to her stu­dio to the pub­lic this week­end.

Sza­lay is a twice win­ner of the lo­cal res­i­dent award for City of South Perth Emerg­ing Artists Award.

Her work fea­tures a mix of em­broi­dery, print and pho­tog­ra­phy.

GI­ANT SPRING FAIR Soroptimis­t In­ter­na­tional of South Perth’s fab­u­lous Gi­ant Spring Fair is on again this month with all the tra­di­tional stalls sell­ing clothes, home­baked goods, jew­ellery, plants, books, toys, house­hold goods and much more. There will also be Devon­shire teas, face-paint­ing, brekkie rolls, a sausage siz­zle and raf­fles.

Soroptimis­t In­ter­na­tional of South Perth will be turn­ing 21 this year and the en­thu­si­as­tic band of vol­un­teers sup­port lo­cal and global projects that help women.

All pro­ceeds will sup­port these pro­grams.

Vic­tims of do­mes­tic vi­o­lence, the home­less, chil­dren at risk and in need and a Ba­li­nese or­phan­age are among re­cip­i­ents of in-kind and fi­nan­cial help.

Cel­e­brate Men­tal Health

Week at the BASE @ Bel­mont's Stress Less Fest all ages event.

There will be lots of fun in the park in­clud­ing ap­pear­ance from Todd Meyn of

Nitro Cir­cus, a pet­ting zoo, games bus, DJ, bar­be­cue, fairy floss, in­flat­a­bles and much more.

No tick­ets are re­quired for this free event.
