Record crowds tipped at show

THE Can­ning Show is set to break records.

More than 15,000 early bird tick­ets were snapped up in just a few weeks, lead­ing or­gan­is­ers to ex­pect a record-break­ing com­mu­nity celebratio­n.

Held over two nights, this Fri­day and Satur­day prom­ises to be jam-packed with fun, fire­works across both nights, rides, food and show­bags.

With the first re­lease ex­hausted, peo­ple can still grab sec­ond re­lease tick­ets from Eventbrite.

The event will fea­ture favourite amuse­ment park rides, more than 12 food trucks, mu­sic from DJS and live bands, free pony rides and a chance to pat al­pacas and baby farm an­i­mals.

There will also be pup­pet shows, Lego dis­plays, wood-chop­ping demon­stra­tions and more than $13,000 in cash prizes.
