Ar­rest for child ex­ploita­tion

PO­LICE have charged a 74year-old Wil­let­ton man with pos­sess­ing child ex­ploita­tion ma­te­rial.

Of­fi­cers from the WA Joint Anti Child Ex­ploita­tion Team ex­e­cuted a search war­rant at the man’s home. Po­lice said dur­ing the search, com­puter and elec­tronic de­vices were lo­cated be­long­ing to the man that con­tained child ex­ploita­tion ma­te­rial.

He is due to ap­pear in court on De­cem­ber 24. A 56-yearold man from Clark­son was also ar­rested as part of Op­er­a­tion Sou­tien, led by the Aus­tralian Cen­tre to

Counter Child Ex­ploita­tion. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about child sex­ual ex­ploita­tion and abuse is urged to call Crime Stop­pers.
