Building new bridges

Canning Gazette - - NEWS -

THE Willetton Bridge Club has a new home.

Members recently moved into the Riverton RSL building on High Road after short stints at Riverton and Willetton libraries.

The club of 75 quickly outgrew home at the Herald Avenue Senior Citizens Centre in 2017.

Willetton Bridge Club secretary Noel Daniel said the move had been facilitated by the generosity of the president of the RSL.

“The management committee and members of the Willetton Bridge Club are extremely thankful and grateful for the warm welcome, generosity and community spirit shown to us in sharing your extensive premises,’’ he said.
