Join Adam Peck from Birdlife WA for a short guided walk through the Jirdarup bushland and learn about black cockatoos, conservation efforts and the Great Cocky Count coming up on April 5. Jirdarup is a local Aboriginal word meaning place of birds and in the Jirdarup precinct more than 40 different bird species can be found. Attendees can also meet the amazing Rex the Baudin’s black cockatoo from Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre.
