Canning Times - - NEWS -

CANNING Community Men’s Shed recognised two very special members at its recent annual general meeting. President Don Buchanan presented life memberships to Eddie Holmes and Kurt Bruckdorfer for more than 10 years of service. Mr Holmes was the Shed’s founding president and is now vice-president. He is still a very active member and heads up the auxiliary shed sub-committee. Mr Bruckdorfer is currently the Shed boss, known for never hesitating to pass on his skills to new Shedders and his never-ending patience to lend a hand and guidance to all. The Men’s Shed welcomes all men, particularly the retired. It meets at the rear of Riverton Baptist Church, 38 Modillion Avenue, Shelley, Mondays to Fridays 9am to noon.
