Students geared for fresh new look
OUT with the old and in with the new; Rostrata Primary School is ready for a big change.
The school will unveil a new logo this month and uniform as part of a rebranding campaign to take effect from next year.
Principal Barry France said the school had come a long way since it opened 35 years ago and the changes would better reflect its high standard of education.
“Earlier this year we decided to improve our school uniform and make it more functional and comfortable for students,” he said.
“There have been several variations of our original logo over the years, so we saw an opportunity to create a new version that we can use to signify our school’s success and vision for the future.
“We have been working closely with staff, students and parents on a design for both the uniform and logo and look forward to a decision being made soon.”
While the new uniform will be introduced next year, there will be a threeyear transition period where both uniforms will be accepted.
The school spent $15,000 – 0.19 per cent of its annual budget – on the rebrand, including the new uniform and logo, website, stationery templates and a professional photographer.
