Back for its 17th year, the Road to Beth­le­hem once again prom­ises to be a fun night out for fam­i­lies.

THE Road to Beth­le­hem is back for its 17th year and is once again set to daz­zle and en­ter­tain kids, par­ents and grand­par­ents alike.

The walk-through na­tiv­ity drama that uniquely de­picts the mean­ing of Christ­mas al­lows peo­ple to step back in time to wit­ness the birth of Je­sus.

Fea­tur­ing stun­ning cos­tumes, breath­tak­ing sets, Ro­man sol­diers, shep­herds, sheep, camels, an­gel choirs and a real baby Je­sus, the event im­merses vis­i­tors in the ori­gin of Christ­mas.

Com­mit­tee mem­ber Naomi Sopi said old favourites the mean king, the lost wise men, camels and cranky don­key were back and the event once again promised to be spe­cial.

“The Road to Beth­le­hem re­minds peo­ple of the real mean­ing of Christ­mas and brings the story to life,” she said.

The event takes place at Liv­ingston Sev­enth-day Ad­ven­tist Church from De­cem­ber 10-12, start­ing at 7pm each night.

The Road to Beth­le­hem tells the story of the ori­gin of Christ­mas.
