Female driver (21) pleads not guilty to murder charge
THE woman charged with the murder of teenager Jacob Cummins in Canning Vale last year has pleaded not guilty.
Aya Hishmeh (21) also entered pleas of not guilty to four charges of attempted murder in the Supreme Court.
Ms Hishmeh sobbed in court last week as she said “not guilty”. She was remanded in custody. The trial will begin on January 30 next year.
Jacob died in December last year when he was hit by a car on Eucalyptus Boulevard in Canning Vale following a fight at a Canning Vale McDonald’s, which continued elsewhere.
