Stringybark Campground

-

Adelaide

Known to be the largest campground in the Deep Creek Conservation Park, Stringybark Campground is set amongst a beautiful forest and is the ideal summer escape. Located just a little over 100km south of Adelaide, this campsite brings a little bit of the glamorous to camping, with hot showers at the ready for guests, as well as flushing toilet facilities and a dishwashing area. The campsite is shaded by large stringybark trees that will be sure to keep the area cool in summer, however, there are also shelters for added comfort. There is limited tank water on site suitable for drinking, so it is recommended that you bring your own water. Campfires are permitted, but not during peak bushfire season from November – April.

Getting there

From Adelaide follow Main South Road through Myponga and Yankalilla. Turn left at the Delamere Store onto Range Road, and beyond this point all directions into Deep Creek Conservation Park are clearly signposted for easy access to the park and campground. It’s $10 a car to enter the park, then $23 a night to camp (per car). Payment is to be made at the self-registration station near the entrance to the campground, or at the Ranger Station.
