Lime Bay Reserve
Hobart
Less than two hours from Hobart, Lime Bay State Reserve is a beautiful seaside secret, with fine sand and incredible views. Close to the atmospheric Coal Mines Historic Site, there’s easy road access and shade, with spaces suitable for tents and campervans. Make sure to bring your own water and firewood and a fuel stove too, because total fire bans can occur without notice. If lying out under the stars with bushland stretching behind you and waves before you sounds like the perfect way to spend your weekend, then it might just be that Lime Bay is the place to go.
Getting there
