Treasure Island

Don your peg leg and walk the plank to one of Queensland’s most treasured holiday parks.

-

O ne of the Gold Coast’s most beloved holiday parks, and a Holidays with Kids favourite, Treasure Island Holiday Park has some exciting news ‘under construction’! Adding to its already bulging list of to- dos for kids is the latest ‘ treasure’ in the park – a brand new water park, scheduled to open around Christmas time. Work has already started on this pirate-themed splash wonderland which will feature a pirate ship, giant octopus, huge tipping bucket, water cannons and ground sprayers, all guaranteed to keep your little buccaneers amused for hours as they search for buried treasure under the ‘x’ and battle the fearsome kraken! Just don’t try and drag them away or you might be forced to walk the plank.

Treasure Island also has plenty of other attractions on offer, and their Christmas school holidays program is sure to bring good cheer. There will be a visit from Santa Claus, great Chrissy arts and crafts to keep little fingers busy and out of mischief, and daily activities such as mini- Olympics and treasure hunts. The park also has fantastic year-round kids’ faves such as a jumping pillow, adventure playground, mini golf and pedal go karts. Besides the soon-toopen water park, Treasure Island also has four spas (yep, we said four) and three pools; one with a water slide, one with a waterfall and a shaded wading pool for the littlest members of your swashbuckling clan.

Reception also sells discounted tickets to the area’s famous theme parks, but we’re not sure you’ll be able to get the kids out of Treasure Island, which may not be a bad thing for mums and dads who just want to relax! www.treasureisland.com.au
