Top 10 Readers’ Choice Awards – Holiday Parks

-

Your votes have been counted! Discover who’s been named the best holiday parks in each state for 2014

Every year we’ve been overwhelmed by responses for our Top 10 Holiday Parks Awards and 2014 is no exception, pulling in more nominations than ever before. The proof is surely in the numbers; Australian families love holiday parks.

We asked you to vote for your favourite resorts, rating each one on their facilities and activities for kids, service, comfort, value for money and the overall experience. Your choices represent the pinnacle of the holiday park experience, each one combining iconic Australian locations with unique accommodations and family fun that won’t break the bank. Whatever your budget, whether you’re beach campers or poolside cabin guests, there’s a fantastic holiday park for your next getaway.

It seems the facilities just keep getting better. Just this year we’ve seen the introduction of innovative interactive playgrounds, new villa accommodation, splash-tastic water play areas and even coconut pancakes, as well as unearthing constant new delights for you to discover. Our winners boast comfort and amenities to make mum and dad feel right at home in the perfectly peaceful surrounds – with even the odd spa to really help you let go – and no shortage of adventure for kids. We’ve found water parks and pools, bike tracks, pedal karts, outdoor movies, mini-golf, kids’ clubs, jumping pillows, tennis courts, games rooms galore and even an aviary filled with colourful macaws – just to name a few.

Due to the flood of votes we’ve received, Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory each warrant their own categories with five finalists each, while our Top 5 Eco Parks category is garnering more votes with every year. The overwhelming majority of holiday parks and votes, however, goes to the perennial east coast states with Top 10 finalists for each. To all readers who cast their vote,

Holidays with Kids would like to say “Thank you” and we look forward to sharing your favourite holiday parks once more in 2015.
