Caravan, Camping and Holiday Parks with Kids - - Queensland -tional

The Coast track, also known as the Coastal Walk, simply must be walked once in a lifetime. Less than an hour from the city, the classic bushwalk is one of the most convenient, with public transport options available at both ends. The 26-kilometre track runs from Bundeena to Otford, offering extraordinary ocean views and the beauty of Royal National Park’s coastline as you go. There is the option to tackle it in small sections, but if the kids are bushwalking fanatics then do the full trail with an overnight stop at North Era campground. The campsite is roughly 18 kilometres from Bundeena and eight kilometres from Otford. Bundeena is the recommended starting point, which allows first-timers to get the longer day out of the way first. Experience all the wonders the coast track has to offer by planning the walk during whalewatching season to spot migrating humpback whales. A camping permit is required, booked in advance through NPWS. Difficulty: Moderate
