Chasing history

Australia is often referred to as a young country – it even gets a mention in the national anthem. But while European settlers may not have arrived until the 18th century, and Australia only became a nation in 1901, Indigenous Australians have occupied this land for at least 65,000 years. So, there’s no shortage of significant ancient and colonial landmarks scattered across the country.
