NEW research has revealed drivers were more likely to be killed or seriously injured in crashes involving a rollover, head-on collision, or when the vehicle hits an object like a tree or post. The report led by Monash University and supported by RACQ, analysed more than 23,000 Queensland crashes where drivers were seriously injured or killed between 2010 and 2015. RACQ said the research revealed some types of crashes imposed three times the risk of fatal and serious injury.
