Office changes coming at the Times

Central and North Burnett Times - - NEWS - Christian Berechree christian.berechree @southburnetttimes.com.au

AS A team, we love telling the many amazing stories the North Burnett has to offer.

Over time, as the media environment changes and shifts, we have had to rethink the best and most effective way to do this.

You will no doubt have noticed some changes to how our team is set up.

As a team, we have made the decision to close our Monto and Mundubbera offices and centralise our team in Gayndah.

Our Biggenden office remains open.

I wanted to personally write this letter to assure all of you, our valued readers, that this does not mean news coming from these towns will drop off or be less of a priority.

It is simply a decision we have made as a business to make sure we’re best placed to meet the demands of a changing media landscape.

Our journalists will still regularly travel to all the towns in the North Burnett, and they are always a phone call or email away if there is news to be reported.

Of course, there will be an adjustment period as we get used to a new way of doing things, but it won’t be long before we’re back to normal.

I understand and accept this will not be a welcome decision for some in the community.

There is a great deal of pride in the towns throughout the North Burnett, and for good reason.

But we remain committed to telling all your stories.
