Stockwater breeder block
THIS property has a total area of 967.909 ha or 2391.70 acres on four portions, is flat to undulating open grazing with timbered areas and a small part of steeper country. The timber is mainly ironbark and spotted gum with some blue gum.
There is a large percentage of good soil being red and black with the balance lighter forest. There is about 400 acres of improved pastures which are Rhodes, signal, wynn cassia and seca; balance is native blue, spear grass with seca stylo throughout the property.
Watered from river (full frontage), 10 dams, spring fed gully with permanent water holes, three bores equipped with windmills and troughs, with one pumping to 5000 gallon poly
tank supplying two troughs, and one bore and well (unequipped).
The fencing is in good condition with some new and the property is fenced into five paddocks and a holding paddock near the timber and cable stockyards with vet crush and calf cradle. The carrying capacity is usually 400 breeders but due to the dry weather currently running 300 breeders, will carry more with further improvements. There is three phase power on the western side and single phase on the eastern side of the property which has three road frontages. As the property fronts the river water allocation can be purchased if required for irrigation. The property is located 25km to Biggenden and 41km to Childers.
