Have a say on Monto’s makeover
IF YOU want to have some input regarding Monto’s Rural Aid Makeover, you will have ample opportunity today and tomorrow.
Four events across the two days will allow residents in Monto and surrounds a chance to voice their opinions.
Monto has been chosen as one of 10 towns in Australia to receive a $100,000 makeover to revitalise the area.
Small-town specialist Peter Kenyon and his team will host several small-group conversations today at the Monto railway station from 1-2.30pm.
From 6-9pm, the whole community is invited to attend a planning event at the Monto Show Pavilion.
As well, a business breakfast will be held tomorrow morning at Cafe Delicious from 7.15am-8.30am.
Mr Kenyon will give an informative talk on how to keep the tills open during tough times.
The events will finish up with an open forum at 11am tomorrow at the Cultural Complex.
