13: Monto’s Com­mu­nity Con­sul­ta­tion Work­shop

HELD at the Monto Town Hall, this work­shop will give res­i­dents a chance to voice their opin­ions on how to spend funds from the Drought Re­lief Pro­gram. Each town in the North Bur­nett has been al­lot­ted $120,000 for CBD re­vi­tal­i­sa­tion and com­mu­nity events. Starts at 7.30pm. Free for ev­ery­one.

14: In Fo­cus Ex­hi­bi­tion

A CEL­E­BRA­TION of North Bur­nett pho­tog­ra­phy will be held at the RM Wil­liams Bush Learn­ing Cen­tre. The dis­play will in­clude pieces from lo­cal pho­tog­ra­phers Lynette Vi­cary, Sandie Read and Lor­raine

HELD at the Mulgildie Hall, the Sil­ver Comet Band will play their favourite melodies for old time danc­ing. Starts at 7.30pm. Nov­elty, lucky door prizes avail­able. Come and dance the night away.

15: Mun­dub­bera Hospi­tal Auxiliary Bingo

COME down to the Mun­dub­bera RSL Hall at 12.30pm to win the $65 jack­pot. There will be a raf­fle and cent sale, along with after­noon tea priced at $2.

16: Ju­nior Life­guard Club

EIDSVOLD swim­ming pool will be hold­ing life­guard lessons for chil­dren ea­ger to learn aquatic safety. The ses­sion will run from 3-4.30pm with lessons on how to be a life­guard.

17: Mun­dub­bera Road­case

HAVE your say about which per­form­ing arts pro­duc­tions and artists you’d like to see come to our re­gion at this free event. If you’re re­spon­si­ble for pro­gram­ming public events or fes­ti­vals, you’re en­cour­aged to at­tend. This in­cludes (but is not lim­ited to) arts coun­cils, re­gional fes­ti­vals and com­mu­nity cul­tural de­vel­op­ment or­gan­i­sa­tions. Those who want to at­tend are en­cour­aged to team up with oth­ers in their com­mu­nity to at­tend as a small group. Held at the Mun­dub­bera coun­cil cham­bers, the event will run from 10am-2pm.

18: Mun­dub­bera Badge Cer­e­mony

MUN­DUB­BERA State School will be hold­ing its badge cer­e­mony for stu­dent lead­ers on Tues­day morn­ing from 8.40-9.20am. All are wel­come to at­tend.

20: All Breeds Steer Sale Biggen­den

HELD at the Bur­nett Live­stock Ex­change in Biggen­den, there will be more than $15,000 worth of prizes to be won on the day. Min­i­mum of 10 head per pen to be el­i­gi­ble for judg­ing. A lucky ven­dor prize will be avail­able on the day. Con­tact the Bur­nett Live­stock team for more in­for­ma­tion. Tro­phy pre­sen­ta­tion is at 8.15am fol­lowed by the sale at 9am.
