CR PAYNE READY FOR NEW ROLES
NEWLY-ELECTED Division 3 Councillor Susan Payne has been appointed two vital roles in her first term in office.
April’s meeting for the North Burnett Regional Council determined who would take up the role of representative to two important working groups in the region.
The Mundubbera Jandowae Roads Working Group, established in 2017, was created to provide leadership to ensure the road network between Mundubbera and Jandowae was the preferred route of travel for trade, tourism, and more.
After a vote was held, Cr Payne was selected as the lead representative, and councillor Melinda Jones was selected as her proxy.
A further vote was held to select a representative to the Water Supply Requirements in the North and South Burnett working group.
The representative will collaborate with key stakeholders in the region.
Cr Payne was appointed to this role, with deputy mayor Robbie Radel selected as her proxy.
NEW ROLE: Division 3 Councillor Susan Payne believes she can bring community passion to her appointment.
