Com­ments:

Plane Creek Mill crushed just over 62,000 tonnes for the week. Avail­abil­ity was good at 90 per cent. Av­er­age weekly CCS in­creased to 15.26. The high­est CCS for the week was 17.30 from a rake of Q208 fourth ra­toon from the Turnor’s Pad­dock Pro­duc­tiv­ity Dis­trict. Based on cur­rent fac­tory per­for­mance and no fur­ther rain dis­rup­tions, har­vest­ing is ex­pected to fin­ish on Thurs­day Novem­ber 1. The mill is ex­pected to crush out overnight Thurs­day.

MARY­BOR­OUGH

TO DATE, the mill has crushed 688,277 tonnes with a sea­son to date CCS of 13.46. Week end­ing, Oc­to­ber 21. Crop: Sea­son Es­ti­mates: 865,000. Cane crushed: Sea­son to date: 688,277. Per­cent­age crushed: 79.5 per cent.

CCS: Sea­son to date: 13.46. *No crush­ing this week due to wet weather.

❝ Crush­ing rate was still below bud­get but in­creased through­out the week as liquor stocks im­proved.
