TOOWOOMBA business DT Truck and Tractor has entered an exciting new season of growth. Known for its quality products and friendly country service, the family-owned business has been part of Toowoomba’s landscape for more than 80 years.

Now recognised as Toowoomba’s Daimler Trucks and New Holland dealer, the truck and tractor dealership has been building momentum since its change of ownership in June. In addition to its line-up of trucks and tractors, the business also runs a busy service centre, parts store and smash repair shop to take care of all its customers’ after-sales needs.

Along with workshop foreman Brendan Fisher, Trevor Thorne leads a team of 12 technicians.

DT Truck and Tractor can service any make or model of truck, with the factory-trained technicians specialising in Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso vehicles.

Customised service plans are offered for each new truck sold and 24/7 roadside assistance is provided.

In addition to the growing service centre, the business has also recently decided to expand into Gatton after being appointed the New Holland Agriculture and Construction dealer for the region.

Led by local Steph Nielsen, the Gatton store specialises in parts for New Holland’s range of farm machinery. It will also co-ordinate sales and servicing for DT Truck and Tractor’s customers throughout the Lockyer Valley.

For customers in Western Queensland, the business has partnered with service centres such as BDS Mechanical in Roma for servicing closer to home.
