New faces for Dairy Australia’s board
DAIRY Australia has two new board members.
Former Parmalat Australia and Warrnambool Cheese and Butter chief executive officer David Lord and Grains Research and Development Corporation deputy chair Roseanne Healy were elected unopposed at Dairy Australia’s annual general meeting.
They replaced directors John McKillop and David Mallinson, who both decided to retire. James Mann was re-elected as a director with milk producer skills.
Mr Mann is owner of Donovan’s Dairying Pty Ltd at Wye in South Australia and was chairman of the DairySA Regional Development Program from 2002 to 2015, when he was elected to the DA board.
Mr Lord was elected as a director with dairy processing and manufacturing skills.
He told the meeting he had spent his whole career in the dairy industry.
He began with Associated Dairies, which later changed its name to Pauls and was eventually bought by Parmalat.
He most recently served as president and chief operating officer for Saputo.
