Arts festival October 12 – November 18
THE annual Brigalow Arts Festival will open on Friday, October 12, and run until November 17 at Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery. Official opening is from 5.30pm on October 12, with presentations from 6pm. Opening entry is adults $10, concession $5 and students, sponsors and entrants free.
School centenary Saturday, Sunday, October 13–14

Industry summit Tuesday, October 16
BANANA Shire Industry Summit is coming up and will focus on Future Energy Solutions – Powering Ahead in Banana Shire. The event is at Biloela Civic Centre. Breakfast at 7am ($20) and the summit is from 9am-1pm which is free. Register at www.eventbrite.com.au.

MARK the next Biloela markets on your calendar. They will be on Saturday, October 20, at the bowls club. There will be everything from home-baked goods, food stalls, sausage sizzle and fresh fruit and vegies to fundraisers, raffles, trash and treasure and plenty of bric-a-brac.
