A MED­LEY stable­ford was played on Satur­day and the win­ner with a fine 43 points was Trevor Sea­grott from Steve Di­et­rich 40, Bruce Robson 39, Chase Wright 38, Steve Ryrie 37, Matt Sahlqvist 36 and Bill Simp­son 35. Pin shots 2/16 B. Simp­son, #8 G. Sparnon, 2nd on 12 T. Lons­dale.

Sun­day was a stroke event and the win­ner was Ray Plisch with 66 (Ray is look­ing for a part­ner for the ham and ham­per day), Steve Di­et­rich and Greg Cruick­shank 68, Adrian Har­ris and Butch Hut­ton 70, Bruce Robson and Dr Charles Miles 72, Troy Lons­dale, Craig Austin and Mark War­nick 73. Pin shots 2/16 S. Di­et­rich, #8 A. Har­ris

#13 T. Lons­dale and 2nd on 12 C. Miles.

Steve and Mark went down 5-5-5 to Harry and Bear on Sun­day.

Next Satur­day will be a med­ley stable­ford and Sun­day will be Ham and Ham­per Day Med­ley 4BBB.

The ball book will be cleared on De­cem­ber 31. If you have not cleared the balls ow­ing to you by that date the balls will be for­feited to the club and the count will start fresh from Jan­uary 1. ON Sun­day, mem­bers played a sin­gle stable­ford event over 14 holes for Dave Mas­sig’s tro­phy.

The win­ner was By­ron Has­sell with 34 points. Run­ner-up was Ross War­ren on 31 points. The run­down

went to Joe Maz­za­cuva and Dave Mas­sig on 29 points, then Gary Ko­pit­tke and Mick Dee­ley on 27 points.

The en­cour­age­ment award this week went to Mick McDon­ald on 21 points.

At this stage the Ham Day and AGM will be held at the Biloela An­zac Club on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 16, at noon. If you can make it, please ad­vise Ian Kirk as num­bers are needed for cater­ing pur­poses.

Sun­day hit-off will be at 7.30am. LAST week the Moura golf club held its AGM and all po­si­tions were filled, even though the num­bers were small. Thanks to the dili­gent few peo­ple who put their hand up time and time again.

Af­ter the meet­ing we did play a stable­ford in the swel­ter­ing con­di­tions and our win­ner on 37 points was Brett Maller, the pin shots were 2/11 Syd Dunne, 6/15 Brett Maller. With this heat we will play at 7.30am on Sun­day.

Thurs­day Club: Last week we played the back nine and the win­ner on a su­per score of 24 points was Pauline Lam­bert-Barker, the pin shot on 11 was won by Syd Dunne, the mem­ber­ship was not won and is start­ing to mount up.
