ON Sunday members played a four ball best ball Stableford event over 14 holes for the Jim Watson’s trophies.
The winners were Paul Higgins and Don Balnaves scoring a great round of 34 points.
Runners up were Jim Watson and Mick Deeley on 33 points and the run down went to Kerry Bath Jarrett Weeks on 32 points. Followed by Graeme Middlebrook and Tyson Charles on 30 points.
The Encouragement Award for the week went to Joe Mazzacuva and Ian Kirk on 30 points.
The pin shots were: No 2 – Kerry Bath, No 8 – Mick Deeley, No 10 – Don Balnaves, No 12 – Tyson Charles, No 13 – Jarrett Weeks and No 14 – Ian Kirk.
Next weekend the competition will be a Single Stroke event over 14 holes for the Club’s Ham Day.
The next raffle date is December 14 and the Annual General Meeting will be hosted at the BAMC, starting at 12pm.
Sunday hit-off will be at 7.30pm.
LAST Sunday commenced at 7.30 am to “beat the heat” and there was 12 players for the competition.
The winner on a good score of 39 points was Paul Seidel, runner up was Keven Lambert-Barker on 37 points.
The pin shots were: No 2/11 – B. Green, No 4/13 – B. Maller, No 6/15 – G. James, No 9/18 R. Long.
The consensus of the players is to start early again on Sunday at 7.30pm for the closing day and something different for the trophy.
Thursday Club was played last week on the front nine with seven players and the winner was 24 points was Brian Green (10).
The pin shot on the No 2 was won by Brian green and No 6 was a skinner and the membership was won P. Lambert-Barker.
