ON Sun­day mem­bers played a four ball best ball Stable­ford event over 14 holes for the Jim Wat­son’s tro­phies.

The win­ners were Paul Hig­gins and Don Bal­naves scor­ing a great round of 34 points.

Run­ners up were Jim Wat­son and Mick Dee­ley on 33 points and the run down went to Kerry Bath Jar­rett Weeks on 32 points. Fol­lowed by Graeme Mid­dle­brook and Tyson Charles on 30 points.

The En­cour­age­ment Award for the week went to Joe Maz­za­cuva and Ian Kirk on 30 points.

The pin shots were: No 2 – Kerry Bath, No 8 – Mick Dee­ley, No 10 – Don Bal­naves, No 12 – Tyson Charles, No 13 – Jar­rett Weeks and No 14 – Ian Kirk.

Next week­end the com­pe­ti­tion will be a Sin­gle Stroke event over 14 holes for the Club’s Ham Day.

The next raf­fle date is De­cem­ber 14 and the An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing will be hosted at the BAMC, start­ing at 12pm.

Sun­day hit-off will be at 7.30pm.


LAST Sun­day com­menced at 7.30 am to “beat the heat” and there was 12 play­ers for the com­pe­ti­tion.

The win­ner on a good score of 39 points was Paul Sei­del, run­ner up was Keven Lam­bert-Barker on 37 points.

The pin shots were: No 2/11 – B. Green, No 4/13 – B. Maller, No 6/15 – G. James, No 9/18 R. Long.

The con­sen­sus of the play­ers is to start early again on Sun­day at 7.30pm for the clos­ing day and some­thing dif­fer­ent for the tro­phy.

Thurs­day Club was played last week on the front nine with seven play­ers and the win­ner was 24 points was Brian Green (10).

The pin shot on the No 2 was won by Brian green and No 6 was a skin­ner and the mem­ber­ship was won P. Lam­bert-Barker.
