The Two Sessions Convey a Powerful Note of China’s Development

The 2019 two sessions of China’s top legislative and political advisory bodies were held in Beijing , the CPPCC from March 3 to 13 and the NPC from March 5 to 15. Under the world economic downward pressure, the two sessions convey an uplifting signal that China will inject vitality into the global economy with high-quality growth. Consumption will continue to be the primary driving force to stimulate economic growth. In 2019, corporate tax and social security payments will be cut by nearly RMB 2 trillion. The environmental law will be strictly enforced to promote the development of renewable energy and ensure sustainable economic and social development.

With the adoption of the Foreign Investment Law, China will further optimize its business environment for foreign enterprises.

In addition, China will also improve people’s livelihood by promoting high-quality employment, vigorously advancing the reform of vocational education, and improving the medical insurance system to realize real-time settlement of medical treatment in different places.

On March 5, 2019, the Second Session of the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) opens at the Great Hall of the People.
