Drawing Strength from Party History

This year marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, stressed that it is the right time to carry out a Party-wide campaign on Party history learning and education. All Party members should understand the CPC’S history, master its theories, do practical work, and make new advances, said Xi, calling for contributions to building China into a modern socialist country.

By learning the history, Party members will be able to draw wisdom from the past struggles and be better equipped to solve current problems. Party history learning and education is necessary to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, develop the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and maintain the vigor of the Party through selfreform.

The goal of this campaign is to delve into the law of history, gain strength of truth, and extend the Party’s endeavors into the future as committed followers of Marxism.
