Exploring the Universe via Immersive Tech

An art exhibition themed “Boundless” organized by China Aerospace Science and Cultural Innovation (CASCI) is launched in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on April 22. The exhibition greatly stimulates local citizens’ enthusiasm for aerospace exploration, as visitors can explore the vast universe by using a Vr-based tool for immersive and interactive visualization of aerospace. Visitors can also wear spacesuits and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Earth, experiencing a sense of weightlessness like astronauts orbiting in space do.

The centralized isolation site for medical observation at Jiangwan Stadium in Yangpu District of Shanghai is completed and put into use on May 9, 2022, providing 1,100 rooms and 1,800 beds for the close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
