Digital Economy Shows Great Vitality
As of December 2021, the national digital economy development index stood at 130.9, showing steady improvement in the digital economy, according to the National Digital Economy Development Index 2021 released in July.
China’s digital economy now ranks second in the world, and is expected to grow further in the 2021-2025 period.
By the end of May 2022, 100 percent of administrative villages had broadband access.
By the end of June 2022, industrial Internet applications covered 45 major categories of the national economy, and high-quality industrial Internet external networks covered more than 300 cities.
