Sleeping Beauty is a fairytale about a girl who accidently pricked herself with a spindle and fell under an old curse that had been placed on her from an evil fairy. She fell asleep for 100 years, and was saved by the actions of a brave prince.
The Ballet Company of Teatro alla Scala has a glorious history dating back to the centuries before the opening in 1778 of the world’s most celebrated musical theater, which is still its home today.
