TWO people have been issued notices to appear after allegedly driving with an illicit substance in their systems. At about 9.50am on March 13, Tara police intercepted a white Holden sedan on Baddleys Road, Tara. It is alleged the 32-year-old Tara man driving the vehicle provided a positive test for driving with an illicit substance in his system, and his licence was suspended. Forty minutes later, police intercepted the same vehicle on Bilton Street, Tara, where it is alleged the 25-year-old woman driving the vehicle provided a positive test for driving with an illicit substance in her system and was also unlicensed. The woman is set to appear in Chinchilla Magistrates Court on May 9, and the man on May 23.
