IF YOU’VE got an eye for light, dark and the shadows in between, Lapunyah Art Gallery would love to hear from you.

The gallery’s latest competition encourages artists to explore the values of light and shade of any subject, with no limits.

Gallery director Helen Dennis said it could be either 2D or 3D work.

“The possibilities are endless, monochromatic or a myriad of colours,” Mrs Dennis said.

“Be brave and shade.” The competition and exhibition is designed for workers or residents of the region, and also has a youth section for entrants aged 14–18 years.

To enter, download an entry form from the gallery website www.lapunyahart gallery.com or pick up a hard copy.

Entries close July 2, with the exhibition of entries to run from September 24 until October 24.
