School trainee set to learn the ropes
RAPAD Employment Services Queensland (RESQ) has welcomed the opportunity to be the host employer of Charleville State High School student Sharni Isla.
Regional RESQ manager Emma Liston said the business was fortunate to host this traineeship in Business Administration Certificate III, with the support of Golden West Apprenticeships and Rapad Skilling.
“RESQ will... act as a role model to mentor our new trainee Sharni by providing an effective workplace with learning and guidance outcomes,” she said.
RESQ has also recently created a Community Development Program (CDP) in which participants can develop their skills in designing, gathering materials and creating projects made from wood.
